Our Story

Thaton Property is a leading and award-winning Property Development and Investment Holding Company. We conceptualize, design, engineer, finance, and operate our own projects—ranging from hospitality, residential, commercial, and various real estate services.

During our time trading as Auspex Property in South Africa, we developed a portfolio valued at ZAR 1 billion. In Zimbabwe, current projects under our belt are valued at approximately US$ 20 million.

A former South African Businessperson of the Year, Ben has developed casinos, resorts, super-max prisons, and 5-star hotels. He is a global entrepreneur passionate about African development and leads the Thaton Group of Companies.

Hilary Muzondiwa

Board Member

A Mechanical Engineer with 19 years at Unilever (retired as MD Eastern & Southern Africa), Hilary now consults multinationals and supports growth, innovation & people development in Africa.

Boni Muvevi

Non-Executive Director, CEO

BSc QS, Wharton (Real Estate Finance), MBA (Univ. of Pretoria)

With 24 years in construction, property, housing, and finance, Boni previously led investments over ZAR 6 billion and steered the GPF Fund's growth. He's worked with Group Five, African Bank, and ABSA/Barclays.

Shunguwasha J. Musemwa

Corporate Accountant

BBA Finance, ACCA

With 17 years in finance across property dev., retail, insurance, mining, and financial services, Shungu joined Thaton Property in October 2018 as Corporate Accountant.

Neil Bradshaw

Projects Director

BSc Hons in Building (UK), MCIOB

Former director at Murray & Roberts, Genrec, and Grinaker, and consultant at Arup Zimbabwe. Former President of the Zimbabwe Construction Industry Federation, Neil is leading the Capital Hotel Harare project.

William Saidi

Construction Manager

With 34 years in construction (Sisk & Son, WBHO), William has run his own firm and managed high-end projects including MSC Belgravia.

Moses Makoni

Quantity Surveyor

With 24 years in cost management and quantity surveying, Moses has led his own firms and supports Thaton in delivering projects on budget and quality.

Breeze Musiyamhanje

Quantity Surveyor

Over 10 years in contract administration, development, and cost control across Namibia, Botswana, and Zimbabwe. Breeze ensures quality, timely, and budget-conscious project delivery.
